A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been formally signed between the Central Department of Social Work, Tribhuvan University (CDSW-TU), and the Association of Youth Organizations Nepal (AYON), marking the commencement of a dynamic, community-led project initiative. This endeavor is generously supported by the British Council Nepal and is being undertaken in collaborative partnership with AYON.

As part of this initiative, Master of Social Work (MSW) students will actively engage in the conceptualization and implementation of group-based projects centered around the themes of climate change, social action, and social work. These projects will be officially recognized as part of the students’ practicum, with corresponding learning hours duly credited and incorporated into their internal evaluations.

This initiative represents a significant step toward integrating Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) into the MSW curriculum, aligning field practicum with a social action-oriented pedagogical framework.
